We have a new development in our arsenal the Brotherhood's Obelisk of Light is deadlier then ever, with two modes of fire that can be switched between as you can see here from our latest battlefield test of the weapon. More data will be revealed in time we must protect the secrets of the Technology of Peace!



While new battlefield reports show another one of GDI's mechanized unit's it appears to be the most compact form yet effectively its a power suit. reports show its a light scout anti infantry vehicle which also grants its wearer protection from the divine resource Tiberium. GDI is calling this machine the Wolverine.



We have new developments of our own since the last war, the replacement of our Light Tank from the first war is the Tick Tank. Having two modes one a burrowed mode where it burrows into the ground, this gives the unit great protection having its body mostly underground. It also gives the unit a lower center of gravity and makes it a much smaller harder to hit target. Making it an ideal defensive weapon in this mode, for offense it can be undeployed into more or less a normal Tank. Armed with a Vulcan Cannon and a 90mm Cannon the Tick Tank is a worthy adversary on the battlefield.

The long awaited re-emergence of Tiberian Sun Rising is here! Welcome Back Commanders! We have a lot of exciting things to share over the coming weeks we have some new team members on our team and our ever strong passion for Tiberian Sun driving us forward every step, this occasion had me think of this announcement from the GDI Supreme Commander himself General Soloman,

Indeed our aim is Victory! and here in this update we have a functioning GDI Base and also a couple of shots from one of our more Tiberian Sun styled map's in the gloomy post apocalyptic type feeling to them. I'll be over in San Francisco next week for the Game Developers Conference 09 so I'll be reporting in from San Francisco for a change and picking up some of the newest Game Design skills & tools in some tutorials I'll be attending should prove useful.

New Year Rising! The Tick Tank!

Welcome Back Commanders

Development continues, I apologise for a slow down in updates a busy time of year and Iv been having some problems with my main computer which didnt help matters. But we have new things to show the map team has been busy away I look foward to showing off some of their work soon.

As for now the newest thing Id like to reveal to you is the Nod Tick Tank! Brilliant skin job done by the talented Soviet Deso matched the Stealth Tanks texture style very well. Here are some renders I'll be posting ingame screenshots to follow up soon.



I also noticed I had not released a fullsize image of the TSR Logo so here it is for those who want it for a wallpaper smile.gif.



The New Year rises up soon and we will continue to provide you with coverage of TSR throughout the new year and beyond smile.gif again I apologise for the slow down in updates. Thankyou!

Welcome Back Commanders!

I apologise for the delay between the last update, but things been moving really great here at Tiberian Sun Rising lately, heres the latest info on what we've been up to.

Halfies, been re-animating units and improving their animations/feel alot hes already revamped the walking Animation on the Wolverine, Titan, Mammoth Mk2 and they look way more fantastic then before. Hes also been busy unwrapping models for our texture artists.

We've got some awesome textures underway one I'm looking foward to is the Nod Tick Tank smile.gif. Quite a bit of rendering work and visual effects happening behind the scenes as you can see with the Sonic Wave render. Coding is going great I've been experimenting and talking with other coders finding lots of cool stuff indeed smile.gif. That sides progressing well.

At popular request a new Nod development, the Nod Missile Silo! Enjoy!



We have two new additions to the team ZDFlamer and DeltaSniper which will be bringing you the maps behind Tiberian Sun Rising. Deltasnipers already working on a really nice new map for testing TSR in and ZDFlamer as I'm sure you all know is quite well known forhis maps in Tiberian Sun and C&C3 Its great to have him aboard.

Also some other new additions Area52 and Marcjs which will be working on more visual effects/HD renders like the GDI Titan which Area52 was behind. very nice!

Things moving along really well, thou we could use some more texture artists still so if you have experiance with texturing/skinning models be sure to email me. I've been getting lots of emails lately if you havent had a response yet dont worry I will get to you very soon smile.gif.

Ezekiels Wheel

Battlefield Update, Battledate 30/08/2030, Good Welcome Citizens

The newest development of the Brotherhoods "Ezekiels Wheel" Stealth Tank were deployed today and given there first tests in battle deployment in some cloak & dagger missions on small GDI Outposts. The reports came back most effective it generates much less heat then the First Tiberian Wars Stealth Tank making it harder for GDI to detect and is much more silent. The visual cloak includes the newest of the Technology of Peace's developments. Armed with a twin missle launcher this Stealth Tank is sure to take many more GDI lives in the coming war.

We intercepted these images from GDI Spies before they reached there destination, which recieved a traitors death 100% toxin and no sedative, after the executions their bodies were burned in an unmarked factory as is the custom for traitors.

Intelligence Report: GDI Titans in C&C3?

Welcome Commander!

Battlefield Update! The GDI Titan has made its way into the next stage of evolution for Tiberian Sun Rising!

Yes! Thats right!, Tiberian Sun Rising is going to Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars! Which I'm sure your all very excited to hear, with 90% of our graphical assets completed we have a strong focus on coding & development so we can bring you your favorite C&C in the latest technology without delay.

We'd like to show you our first addition the GDI Titan! Which to my knowledge is the first unit added to C&C3 other then EA with the SDK which well enjoy it I thought the Titan was worthy of being first added.



More details will follow very soon with more screenshots you can be sure! Not to mention the possibilities with the new engine are endleslly more amazing then ever before! Back to playing with the SDK for me smile.gif. At the moment the Zero Hour version is on the back burner, we feel as that the C&C3 engine is designed to handle everything we want to give you the gaming experiance will be far better handled in the hands of C&C3 SAGE engine.

Battlefield Update

Where there is oppression Nod is there, not with empty promises or propaganda but with divination.

Good evening and welcome to todays field update, One Vision One Purpose:

Its been a while since we've posted an update so I thought it was due for one. We've made quite alot of progress with Tiberian Sun Rising. All structure models for GDI and Nod are completed, all Vehicle models for both sides are completed. Only remaining modelling on GDI and Nod are the remaining infantry models which are being worked on at the moment.

GDI is almost completely textured except for two units which Skulking Ferrit is working on finishing off currently. The Brotherhood of Nod however is worse off theres alot of texturing to do with say 10-20% of texturing completed so far for Nod. Halfie is unwrapping Nod models at the moment while I am working on some textures. If theres any talented texture artists out there who have an interest in Tiberian Sun be sure to drop me an email as your help could speed things along essentially.

The announcement of the release date for C&C3's SDK has the team and myself very excited, the first release of Tiberian Sun Rising will be Zero Hour however we can begin experimenting with the new engine and work out needed game design changes for the C&C3 version of Tiberian Sun Rising.

If your interested in being a part of the Tiberian Sun Rising team whether it be the Zero Hour version or C&C3 version of the mod be sure to email me! .We are currently looking for texture artists and mappers, but if you have another talent you think you can contribute send me an email anyway.

We do apologise for the lack of updates recently,

As you've noticed we've been having some server issues lately on the network and I've been pretty busy at work.

The main thing we are doing at the moment is unwrapping and skinning Nod, if anyone has any skills in those areas we would much appreciate you contacting us if your interested in helping out. We are working on it as much as we can but understand we do have alot of other things to take care of as well in our lives which has hindered progress lately.

Got a Present For Ya!

Well its Christmas, I do apologise for the slow down on updates lately I've been pretty sick most of the week. But am feeling much better now, must be the Christmas Spirit wink.gif that helped me through that. Anyway this week is special being Christmas and all so here is a nice big update for all to enjoy! Some Renders and then alot of screenshots. You'll also notice we made it through to phase 2 of the Mod of the Year Competition here on MODDB biggrin.gif.

TSR Nominated for Phase2 of MOTY

Tiberian Sun Rising was lucky enough to be nominated for Phase 2 of the Mod of the Year Awards!!

What does this mean? well Phase 1 was 4000 mods, now we are in Phase 2 where the list has been cut down the Top 100 mods that were voted, so TSR is within the Top 100 which is fantastic to see.

Now in Phase2 of voting, you can ONLY vote for 3 mods of the list of 100. We'd much appreciate it if you used one of those votes for Tiberian Sun Rising wink.gif.

Apocalyse Rising a fellow network mod, made it into the Top 100 as well they are a RA2 Renegade mod exciting stuff, also plenty of other C&C mods from the community made it in!

So get on in to Phase 2 and get voting! Remeber you can only vote for 3 mods, so choose wisely if you vote for us Thankyou ! smile.gif *Remember we are listed under the Generals Zero Hour section of the nominations area*
